The Holybro Pixhawk 6C Aluminum Case is a high-performance autopilot flight controller designed for professional UAVs, autonomous vehicles, multirotors, fixed-wing aircraft, VTOL platforms, and robotic systems.
Based on the Pixhawk FMUv6C Open Standard, it combines a powerful STM32H743 processor, redundant inertial sensors, integrated vibration isolation, extensive connectivity, and a durable aluminum housing.
The Pixhawk 6C is supplied with PX4 firmware pre-installed and also supports ArduPilot for flexible professional UAV integration.
Powerful STM32H743 Processor
The Pixhawk 6C is powered by an STM32H743 Arm Cortex-M7 processor operating at up to 480 MHz.
With 2 MB Flash memory and 1 MB RAM, it provides the processing capability required for advanced flight control algorithms, autonomous navigation, sensor fusion, telemetry, and complex UAV applications.
A dedicated STM32F103 I/O processor manages additional real-time input and output functions.
Redundant Inertial Measurement System
The flight controller integrates two independent IMUs:
ICM-42688-P accelerometer and gyroscope
BMI088 accelerometer and gyroscope
The redundant sensor architecture improves system reliability and provides accurate motion data for demanding autonomous flight applications.
Integrated Vibration Isolation
The Pixhawk 6C features an integrated vibration isolation system designed to reduce high-frequency vibration and sensor noise.
This helps improve IMU measurement quality, flight stability, and overall navigation performance without requiring a separate external vibration-damping mount in many installations.
Temperature-Controlled IMUs
The onboard IMUs are temperature-controlled using integrated heating resistors.
Maintaining the sensors within an optimized operating temperature range helps improve measurement consistency and reliability across changing environmental conditions.
Durable Aluminum Housing
This version is supplied with the aluminum enclosure.
The rigid housing provides enhanced mechanical protection for professional UAV installations while maintaining a compact, low-profile form factor.
Integrated Navigation Sensors
The Pixhawk 6C includes an onboard MS5611 barometer for altitude measurement and an IST8310 magnetometer for heading information.
External GPS modules, compasses, airspeed sensors, rangefinders, and additional navigation peripherals can be connected through the available interfaces.
Extensive UAV Connectivity
The controller provides a wide range of interfaces for professional UAV integration.
It includes 16 PWM servo outputs, three telemetry ports, two GPS ports, two CAN buses, an I2C port, dedicated receiver interfaces, two analog power inputs, and separate FMU and I/O debug ports.
16 PWM Outputs
The Pixhawk 6C provides 16 PWM servo outputs:
8× I/O PWM outputs
8× FMU PWM outputs
The PWM signal voltage can be configured between 3.3 V and 5 V through an internal hardware setting.
Dual CAN Bus Support
Two CAN buses allow integration with DroneCAN-compatible peripherals such as GNSS modules, compasses, power modules, airspeed sensors, rangefinders, and other professional UAV devices.
Multiple GPS & Telemetry Ports
The controller includes two dedicated GPS ports.
GPS1 supports the complete GPS interface, including the safety switch connection, while GPS2 provides an additional GPS interface for redundant or multi-GNSS configurations.
Three telemetry ports provide flexible connectivity for datalinks, radios, onboard computers, and additional peripherals.
PX4 & ArduPilot Compatibility
The Pixhawk 6C is designed for open-source autopilot development and supports both PX4 and ArduPilot firmware.
It is suitable for commercial UAV development, academic research, autonomous robotics, prototyping, testing, and professional aircraft integration.
