The Holybro PM02 Power Module is a compact analog power module designed to provide regulated power and real-time battery monitoring for Pixhawk-compatible UAVs, multirotors, fixed-wing aircraft, VTOL platforms, and autonomous systems.

Supporting 2–12S LiPo battery systems, the PM02 supplies regulated 5.2V power to the flight controller while transmitting battery voltage and current measurements through an analog interface.

The module is supplied fully assembled with pre-installed XT60 connectors, power cables, an electrolytic capacitor, and protective heat-shrink tubing for easy UAV integration.

Regulated Flight Controller Power

The integrated switching regulator provides a stable 5.2V output with up to 3A maximum current.

This regulated output is designed to power the flight controller and compatible low-power peripherals such as GPS modules, receivers, and telemetry equipment.

The PM02 is not designed to supply high-current servos. Servos should be powered through a dedicated BEC, ESC BEC, or separate regulated power system.

2–12S LiPo Compatibility

The PM02 supports battery systems from 2S to 12S LiPo.

This wide input range makes it suitable for a variety of professional UAV platforms, from compact multirotors to larger fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft.

Analog Voltage & Current Monitoring

The module continuously measures battery voltage and propulsion-system current.

Voltage and current data are transmitted to the flight controller through the 6-pin JST-GH analog connection, allowing compatible autopilot software to display battery voltage, current consumption, consumed capacity, and battery warnings.

Integrated Current Sensor

The PM02 circuit board is rated for 60A continuous current and up to 100A burst current for less than 60 seconds.

The integrated current sensor can measure current up to 120A.

Actual usable current also depends on connector type, wire size, cooling, installation, and operating conditions.

Pre-Installed XT60 Connectors

The power module is supplied with XT60 connectors and 12AWG power cables pre-installed.

This provides a convenient plug-and-play connection between the aircraft battery and the UAV power distribution system.

For applications operating above the current capability of the supplied XT60 connectors and cables, the connector type and wire size must be upgraded accordingly.

Compact & Lightweight Design

With compact dimensions of 25 × 25 × 10 mm and a weight of approximately 20 g, the PM02 is easy to integrate into UAV platforms where installation space and weight are limited.

Protective heat-shrink tubing helps protect the electronic components during installation and operation.

Pixhawk-Compatible Analog Interface

The PM02 is designed for flight controllers using an analog power module input.

It is compatible with systems such as Pixhawk 4, Pixhawk 6C, Pixhawk 6C Mini, Pix32, Durandal, Cube-based controllers, and other compatible autopilot systems with an analog power interface.

The PM02 is not directly compatible with Pixhawk 5X or Pixhawk 6X systems, which normally require a digital power module such as the PM02D.

PX4 & ArduPilot Support

The PM02 can be configured with PX4 through QGroundControl or with ArduPilot through Mission Planner.

The standard Holybro analog calibration values provide a starting point for battery voltage and current monitoring and can be adjusted if additional measurement calibration is required.
