The DroneCAN M9N GPS is a reliable GNSS module designed for professional UAVs, autonomous drones, and robotic platforms. Built around the u-blox NEO-M9N receiver, it supports multiple satellite constellations for improved positioning availability and flight reliability.
Using DroneCAN communication, the module offers better resistance to electromagnetic interference compared to traditional serial GPS connections. It also avoids occupying a flight controller serial port and allows multiple CAN devices to be connected on the same CAN bus.
Reliable DroneCAN Communication
The DroneCAN M9N GPS uses the DroneCAN protocol for communication with compatible flight controllers.
This provides improved reliability, better electromagnetic interference resistance, and cleaner integration compared to standard serial GPS modules.
Multiple CAN devices can also be connected to the same CAN bus using a compatible CAN splitter board.
Multi-GNSS Positioning
The integrated u-blox NEO-M9N receiver supports up to four concurrent GNSS systems.
Supported constellations include GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou, helping improve positioning availability and stability during flight.
Integrated Compass
The module includes an integrated compass, using either BMM150 or IST8310 depending on the version.
This provides heading data for compatible flight controllers and supports reliable navigation performance.
Flight Controller Compatibility
The DroneCAN M9N GPS is compatible with PX4 and ArduPilot flight controller firmware.
It is suitable for fixed-wing UAVs, multirotors, VTOL aircraft, and autonomous robotic platforms requiring reliable GNSS positioning.
Compact & Lightweight Design
With a 54 mm diameter, 14.5 mm thickness, and 36 g weight, the DroneCAN M9N GPS is easy to integrate into professional drone platforms.
The integrated tri-color LED indicator provides clear system status feedback during setup and operation.
