The Holybro PM03D Power Module combines a digital power module and integrated power distribution board in a single compact unit.

Designed for Pixhawk 5X, Pixhawk 6X, and compatible FMUv6X flight controllers, it provides regulated autopilot power, digital battery voltage and current monitoring, motor ESC power distribution, and multiple regulated outputs for companion computers and UAV peripherals.

The PM03D supports 2–6S LiPo battery systems and is particularly suitable for multirotor platforms requiring a clean and centralized power distribution solution.

Digital I2C Power Monitoring

The PM03D measures battery voltage and propulsion-system current through a digital I2C interface.

Power and measurement data are transmitted to the flight controller through a single 6-pin CLIK-Mate cable.

Integrated Power Distribution Board

Unlike the compact PM02D, the PM03D includes an integrated power distribution system.

Battery voltage is distributed to the motor ESC outputs through XT30 connectors or dedicated solder pads, reducing the need for an additional external PDB.

The standard PM03D version includes pre-installed XT30 motor outputs.

A version without pre-soldered XT30 connectors is also available for custom wiring configurations.

2–6S LiPo Compatibility

The PM03D supports 2–6S LiPo battery systems.

Its integrated power distribution architecture makes it suitable for multirotors, development platforms, autonomous UAVs, research aircraft, and custom drone projects operating at up to 6S voltage.

Dedicated 5.2V Flight Controller Power

The 6-pin CLIK-Mate flight controller connection provides regulated 5.2V power with up to 3A output.

This dedicated regulated supply powers the compatible Pixhawk autopilot while transmitting digital voltage and current measurements through I2C.

Additional 5.2V Peripheral Power

A second regulated 5.2V / 3A output is available through the JST-GH connector and associated triple-row pin header.

This output can be used to power compatible companion computers, onboard electronics, communication modules, and other UAV peripherals.

Selectable 8V / 12V Auxiliary Output

The PM03D includes an adjustable auxiliary power output.

By repositioning the onboard jumper, the output voltage can be configured to either:

8V / 3A
12V / 3A

This provides a flexible power source for compatible cameras, video transmitters, payload electronics, and other UAV accessories.

Always verify the required input voltage of the connected equipment before selecting the output voltage.

High-Current Power Distribution

The PM03D circuit board is rated for:

60A Continuous Current
120A Burst Current for Less Than 60 Seconds

The integrated current sensor can measure current up to 164A.

Actual usable current depends on the installed connectors, cable size, soldering quality, airflow, cooling, and operating conditions.

XT60 Battery Connection

The PM03D includes an XT60 battery connection with pre-installed 12AWG power cable.

The supplied XT60 connector and 12AWG cable are rated for approximately 30A continuous current and 60A temporary current for less than one minute.

For higher-current propulsion systems, the connector type and power cable size must be upgraded according to the application requirements.

Plug-and-Play Autopilot Integration

The PM03D is designed for simple integration with PX4 and ArduPilot systems.

Compatible configurations are automatically supported by modern PX4 and ArduPilot firmware, reducing the need for manual voltage-divider and current-sensor calibration.

Pixhawk 5X & Pixhawk 6X Compatibility

The PM03D is designed for flight controllers using a digital I2C power-monitoring interface.

It is compatible with:

It is not directly compatible with flight controllers requiring an analog power module, including Pixhawk 6C, Pixhawk 6C Mini, Pixhawk 4, Pixhawk 4 Mini, Pix32 v5, and Durandal.
