The Holybro Micro OSD V2 is a compact On-Screen Display module designed for FPV drones, UAVs, fixed-wing aircraft, multirotors, and autonomous platforms using an analog video system.
Built around an ATmega328P microcontroller and MAX7456 monochrome OSD chip, it allows important flight and telemetry information to be displayed directly on the FPV video feed.
Real-Time Flight Information
The Micro OSD V2 provides an easy way to monitor essential aircraft information during FPV operation.
Depending on the flight controller configuration and firmware, the OSD can display information such as battery voltage, flight time, altitude, GPS data, flight mode, heading, warnings, and other telemetry values directly on the video feed.
ATmega328P Microcontroller
The module uses an ATmega328P microcontroller with an Arduino bootloader.
This widely supported architecture provides reliable OSD processing and allows firmware configuration or updates through compatible tools.
MAX7456 Monochrome OSD
The integrated MAX7456 chip generates a clear monochrome overlay for analog FPV video systems.
Flight information is displayed directly over the camera image without requiring an external display processor.
Compact & Lightweight Design
With dimensions of only 17.5 × 35 mm and a weight of approximately 3 g, the Micro OSD V2 is easy to integrate into compact UAV and FPV platforms.
Its lightweight design minimizes the impact on aircraft weight and installation space.
PAL Video Configuration
The board includes a solder jumper for PAL video configuration.
This allows the module to be adapted to compatible analog video standards depending on the camera and video system setup.
GHR Connector Interface
The Micro OSD V2 uses compact GHR connectors for connection to compatible flight controllers, cameras, and video transmitters.
The included cable set simplifies integration into supported UAV systems.
Exposed Diagnostic Test Points
Exposed HSYNC and LOS test points are available for advanced diagnostics, development, and system troubleshooting.
Important Power Connection Note
The BAT+ input is directly connected to the camera and video transmitter power outputs.
Always verify the maximum input voltage supported by the connected camera and video transmitter before powering the system.
