The Hobbywing H15MD Coaxial Propulsion System is an industry-grade integrated propulsion solution engineered for demanding heavy-lift UAV operations. It is designed for material lifting, logistics transportation, emergency firefighting, and rescue missions.

Built on a coaxial dual-rotor architecture with large-diameter carbon fiber propellers, the H15MD delivers superior thrust, efficiency, and safety through abundant power redundancy.

Powerful Heavy-Lift Performance

The H15MD delivers a rated thrust of 60 kg per axis.

With a maximum thrust of 145 kg per axis, it provides strong lift capability for heavy-duty industrial UAV platforms.

It is designed for UAVs with a recommended takeoff weight above 240 kg in a 4-axis, 8-propeller configuration.

The system is suitable for 100–150 kg payloads and can be expanded to 6-axis or 8-axis configurations for larger payload requirements.

High-Voltage Platform & Enhanced Efficiency

The system operates at 100 V and is compatible with 18S, 24S, and 28S LiPo batteries.

Cooling efficiency is increased by 20% thanks to enlarged motor vents with centrifugal fans.

The H15MD achieves 7.4 g/W efficiency at rated coaxial thrust.

Real-time motor temperature monitoring comes standard for improved reliability and easier diagnostics.

New-Generation FOC ESC Architecture

The system uses a self-developed FOC ESC with industry-grade motors and Hobbywing proprietary control algorithms.

This architecture provides lower operating temperature rise, more linear RPM output, and faster throttle response.

Dual-throttle redundancy improves real-time responsiveness and EMI resistance.

The built-in black box supports 48 hours of propulsion log storage, readable via CAN bus.

Intelligent Control & Safety

Default Intelligent Propeller Control enables directional propeller stopping.

CAN communication is compatible with ArduPilot, PX4, VK, BOYING, JIYI, ACFLY, and more.

Multiple power-on and running protections are included, such as overcurrent protection, motor stall protection, undervoltage protection, and temperature anomaly protection.

Firmware updates are supported via DataLinkBox.

Robust & Modular Design

The integrated motor, ESC, and motor base design simplifies installation and maintenance.

The system is compatible with 80 mm arm tubes with 3 mm or 5 mm wall thickness.

The 3° tilt-angle motor base improves flight stability and agility.

With an operating temperature range from -40°C to +60°C and IPX6 waterproof protection, the H15MD is built for harsh industrial environments.

Wide Industrial Applications

The H15MD is suitable for material lifting and logistics transportation.

It is also designed for emergency firefighting, rescue operations, and demanding heavy-lift UAV missions.

Its robust design makes it suitable for high-altitude and extreme-temperature environments.
