The Hobbywing V8014 170KV Brushless Motor is a high-performance propulsion solution specifically designed for professional VTOL fixed-wing UAVs. Engineered to deliver powerful thrustfast throttle response, and exceptional efficiency, it is ideal for mapping, inspection, surveillance, cargo transport, and other demanding commercial drone applications.

Available in Standard and IPC (Intelligent Propeller Control) versions, the V8014 allows UAV manufacturers and integrators to select the propulsion system best suited to their aircraft and mission profile.

Built with an optimized magnetic circuit, premium industrial materials, and an advanced cooling system, the V8014 provides reliable performance under continuous heavy loads while maximizing efficiency and long-term durability.

Powerful & Efficient Performance

The V8014 delivers up to 21 kg of maximum thrust while weighing only 661 g, providing an outstanding 31:1 thrust-to-weight ratio.

Designed for 12S LiPo power systems, the motor offers:

The recommended operating thrust is 5.5–7.5 kg per rotor, making it an ideal propulsion solution for professional quadcopters with a maximum take-off weight of 22–30 kg.

The V8014 features a high-efficiency centrifugal air cooling system combined with a large integrated heat sink, ensuring efficient heat dissipation during continuous high-current operation.

The Standard Version is fully compatible with conventional ESCs such as the Hobbywing XRotor Pro H80A 14Sand XRotor Pro H100A 14S, providing a reliable, efficient, and easy-to-integrate propulsion solution for professional VTOL aircraft.

IPC Version

The IPC (Intelligent Propeller Control) Version is designed to operate with Hobbywing IPC ESCs, enabling intelligent propeller positioning during fixed-wing cruise.

The IPC system provides several advanced features:
